WHERE THE MISSION REALLY BEGAN!

Few may truly remember the ‘To Care is to Cure’ shows in the mid-late-80’s For Dana Sintell…it was a start of a passion that would carry through even to today! The shows, highlighted by bus rides from bar to bar raising funds for GRID (HIV), were an absolute hoot and a mess. Imagine arriving at the final bar,…drunk, disheveled and dirty.  YEP those were the good old days! There are YOUTUBE vids out there!! OH BOY!

2026 IS A NEW KIND OF SUCCESS FOR RUBI!

We all love a RubiShow… In fact, the Yellow Springs Show last month is still being hailed as a masterpiece! But after a long, exhausting, fund-driven 2025, Rubi sets her sights on something different. So far this year, the Girls received word their Historic marker was a go; they paid the final payment on the RubiClubhouse; they restructured the Board to make an Executive Director and 2 Board members… making it a working board; they have already given to over 20 non-profits; they will be giving their biggest number of scholarships ever… and they are excited to make a big announcement about The Show Must Go On! All of this is being worked out to make Rubi stronger, more cohesive… and above all, able to give even MORE!
